VARIETIES: Barbera, Croatina, Pinot Nero, Riesling, Uva Rara
VITICULTURE: Harvested in the last week of August from various plots in the Casteggio commune at 240 meters above sea level. Vines are 25 to 30 years old and are guyot trained.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are co-fermented and spend 8 days on the skins with pump-overs twice per day. Fermentation with native yeasts. No fining or filtering. 8 mg/l total sulphur added during the press and at bottling.
